Nico von Nisterau is a gorgeous and very affectionate 2 year-old German Shepherd.  This engaging boy is happiest around human company—he loves to lean his entire body into you or bury his head against your chest. Nico is a smartie too, he knows "sit" and "down,"  and takes treats with a gentle mouth.  On walks, he walks politely alongside other dogs. He would appreciate another dog in his new home (but no cats).  He's thrilled to be included in playgroups, happily welcoming kisses and greeting both dogs and people with sweet manners, with potential to play. Sometimes people like to come meet some dogs on their list and then report back to an absent family member. A potential adopter said Nico is "the perfect package." He related so beautifully, it even seemed like he was posing for a going-home picture. Not to mention how handsome he is!  If you are looking for a special sweet  friend who has nothing but love to give you and your family, Nico is your guy!
